So I've been thinking for a while and looking back to how I have been acting, and trying to get commissions; and well I've been just plain silly. I recently read a blog by  wolf-nymph and it really got me thinking. Is my art good enough at its current level of quality and am I undercharging for my work. I look around at other artists and I see them charging mere pennies for their work while they could be charging a lot more. Then I see the other side of the spectrum where people are charging just as much as I do for lower quality pieces. Its just crazy. To be honest I think I just need to take a break. Once I get the commissions I currently have I'm gonna be taking a break from it all. No more trying to earn commissions or anything, just drawing more for myself. I've kinda grown tired of trying to please everyone and think a break is in order. To just focus on refining my work and try new things on my own. I also need to focus on my life and getting that in order as well. I may still do gift art for a few friends but thats the extent of it. I'm sorry to all you who have been wanting to commission me but it just needs to happen. I may return in a couple weeks maybe a couple months. I don't know for sure.
