I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to my partner to help him get home from China. Thanks to you, he was able to book a different hotel (due to a mess of unforeseen bullshit, he was suddenly without a room in Beijing and still had a week before his flight out of the country) and complete his scheduled visit, instead of having to find a way to come home early.

Your generosity and resourcefulness have really surprised and touched us both, and we are so grateful to you guys for all the help, both for the donations and just the kind words of support.

I want to let you know that I have been very sick for the last few days with a wicked sinus infection, and it has kept me feverish and out of commission. I did get to the doctor today for some antibiotics to kick it, and as soon as I'm feeling up to sitting up without falling over, I will start the badges. I hope to get them done over the weekend so you have plenty of time to get them printed and whatnot for those of you hoping to wear them at AC! I did say they would be done before it, so look for them by Wednesday at the latest, sick or no sick.
