Back in action to some degree.

So...
Well, I had to sell my laptop a couple weeks ago, because I needed the money for bills and food. This was kinda' shooting myself in the foot, as I relied on that for work, but given the choice between eating, and having a laptop, I'm sure you can understand why I sold it.
Anyway, someone was extremely nice and donated to me some ram and a HDD to get my old decrepit Mac running again, so I had something to work on. But we couldn't find a way to get an OS on it. No one had a slot loading DVD drive for a Mac laying around, or an external DVD drive I could borrow.
So my boyfriend and I got creative, and rigged up something unusual to get the job done. *laughs* Video here.

IT worked! I'm actually typing to you all right now on my little old Mac. And hopefully I'll be going out and doing more shooting this week!
Also, huge thanks go out to
spiritcreations for helping to get people to donate to our PayPal account, and to all the people that were kind enough to donate! We're still not in the clear yet on that, but the apartment complex is working with us a little, and we're still hopeful that we'll be able to keep a roof over our heads. This has meant a lot to us both and we really appreciate it.

Oh, on another note, since I have this laptop working, I should be able to come do that shoot for your friend! Long as I'm still in the area and have a working vehicle before then, (which we should) :)
