Welp, finished off my chocolate whiskey, but I'm thinking of heading down to town to grab a bottle of Port.

I don't know if you're just prone to overreacting to alcohol or what, buddy 'o' mine, but believe me when I tell you it'll take a heck of a lot more for me to get anywhere close to wasted. And even if I got to that point, the worst that'll happen is an irritating trip to the loo, possibly accompanied by a headache in the morning.

Drinking too much is bad, yes. But drinking in moderation's great.

Appreciate the concern, but that doesn't sound like a case of 'drinking too much'.
it sounds like a case of 'making the bad decision to drink and drive'.
