Raw Diet Blog (for pets!)
I'm a huge proponent of raw/species appropriate diets for companion and farm animals. If you've ever heard of raw (also called S.A.D. or the BARF diet) and have any questions feel free to check it out~ Better yet, if you've never heard of this for your pets, give the FAQ post a once-over.

There are a lot of questions I usually get asked so the FAQ is quite long. XD I tried to break it down as best I could. If you have any questions for me, feel absolutely free to send me an ask on Tumblr or a note or message here!
The blog will not only be dedicated to answering pet owners' questions about the raw diet but to track the progress of my cat as he switches, show off some of the crazy things my dog eats, and share some good advice from articles and vets that I come across.

Puppies can be started on raw as soon as a part of their weaning process. Basically the earlier you start raw the better for the dog. XD That way the detox is much less and the health benefits start from an early age. So with weaning pups you'd probably have the most success using a food processor to grind their meals at first (similar to how mom would regurgitate the food for them) and then slowly start to introduce them to boneless meats. After that you can introduce large but malleable bones (like the bones in chicken breasts) to get them used to chewing that way. And it's all easy peasy from there! Aaand if the prospective puppy's already on kibble, just skip the food processor step. c:
My friend's dog was pretty young when we switched her. Maybe... four months? Something like that. And she took to it fine. She just had some problems with gulping since she was a food inhaler before. XD
Thanks so much for that info! :D My friend would probably love to hear about it and it's an awesome tip to remember when I get my next puppy sometime down the road. C: He/she will definitely be started out right! Haha.
No problem! If I ever get another dog I plan to do the same. :D
Also a very good source of fiber for your misery! :D
Forever and ever.

Or if you nose her throat she gets super excited and play bows?
Forever and ever, you say?
Forever.
And ever.
