I had the same problem not to long ago, I then tried again several hours later and it worked then. Wish I could tell you more or help in some way but I am at a loss.

From what I can say, when I was finally able to submit after all the issues I had was when I was using the browser Flock. Why not trying Google Chrome, Safari, Flock or just any other reliable browser (I hope you don't try IE since it has it's own set of issues and can compromise security from what I experienced in the past). Perhaps it can help.

You probably already tried this, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Have you tried refreshing the page/logging off and on again (maybe clear your cache too?)? I saw there was an issue with some users not being able to upload avatars or submissions. It's fixed now but I think you had to refresh the page for it to work or something.
