Think of it this way. He's already made a big enough asswipe out of himself publicly... now that gets attached to the name of Furry.

People see the loudest, most public images first. No matter how accurate. They make false associations, but they believe these because they are formed first. Remember the horribly inaccurate CSI furry portrayal? People still think of that when they think "furry".

Rapper community is reputation based. Even hinting at being gay would be a career killer. Being a furry would be ten times worse.
