"MORELS taste good in omelettes..."
My last submission here was a ref for Grayver, my goofball gryphon, that I did up for 
que-sera-sera's contest (she wasn't judging, though, but she is going to be making this), and I literally got in my entry the day before the window closed. So, just out of curiosity, and expecting to cheer on somebody getting a cool costume, I find her journal-entry announcing the winners and had to do a double-take: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/...../#cid:26879556 Ok, a triple and quadrupal take. Egad, I may have Grayver for next FC.... That would be fecking awesome. *mutters, have to make up some silly fifties-style sci-fi outfit for him...*

As for FC, try Googling images of Flash Gordon, (Buck Rogers will just get you the '70s TV show), or Tom Corbett Space Cadet. Science Fiction Illustrations or Art should bring up some good images, too.
As for the costume ideas, oh man, have I got fuel for that! *giggles* I've been a fan of cheesy space-opera since I was knee-high to a grasshopper.
