Greetings One & All
I find this interesting & amusing.....Since my journal of yesterday (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3545070/ ), I have heard back from both artist.
The first one said that my badge had been mailed but returned to him "2 days ago". Which I have a hard time believing. Before I sent the note asking about it (again), on April 25th, 2012, he said it was "scanned & going in the post tomorrow". If he truly mailed it on April 26th, 2012, it seems odd, to me, that it returned to him "2 days ago" - which would've been June 8th, 2012. Not that it couldn't happen, but his creditability makes me doubtful. According to the note I received yesterday, he will "re-send it out today when I make a hit to the post". We'll see. I'll keep you posted.
As for the second one, I did get a reply from that artist also. There was an apology. Also letting me know about some shortness of supplies. My faith is slightly shaken here, but trying not to lose hope.
Lesson learned here: Not planning on buying any art from cons if I can't get a guaranty of delivery before end of con. (Some exception apply) I always try to pay in advance, going on good faith that the artist will follow through. :sigh: Guess I need to stop being so trusting.
Anyway, I'm done for now.

Went back as the Artists' Alley was closing on Sunday. He said he would mail it to me.
A year later....no artwork. He was not at AC that year. I emailed him. He said he would mail out the finished commission ASAP.
Six months later, I received an inking in my email. I never did get the original.
