Haven't posted for a bit, so I thought I'd throw something up for you guys.
Having a hard time figuring out what electronic genre is what? Well here's a few things to help you peeps out:
(The examples aren't really specific enough... For example, when on dubstep, it plays a different genre (brostep, which branches off of dubstep.))
(I skimmed through this one, but it seems pretty legit.)
Then there's a nice lil site:
http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/
And if you really want to dig as deep as you can into understanding the branches of electronic:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o.....c_music_genres
Pluuuus, just for fun, I'm going to add an absolutely fantastic postdubstep artist's song on here, James Blake. (You might want to grab a fat subwoofer; the bass is crazy looooooow):
Well, I hope this helps! :'D
Please please please! If you have better information and such on the the many genres/subgenres/subsubgenres/subsubsubsubsubsubsubgenres of electronic, put em down in the comments!

i just gloved to the whole second video.
I think there's a problem trying to get too into detail in only 10 minutes. 1hour would probably be more accurate with being able to represent a genre, then having examples of subgenres. And the fact they totally left out Electro swing made me sad. :( And the Trip Hop selection was lulzy.... oh man. The whole thing really. D:
