Personally I see a small level of disrespect in watching so many people you can't actually pay attention, but I don't disagree with enjoying as much art as possible. Honestly I'm impressed you watch as many as you do.
I imagine a lot of art gets missed though. Do you really see more than a handful of pieces people produce? Or do you just nuke em and start over? I honestly don't mind-this is just my curious side asking. :)

Usually after I am done searching for artist I review the art that comes to me. If its bad I unwatch ,but if its good I will just remove the ones I look at and move on. But honestly, what stops one from look at all the art in a week? Even more so what stops me from just taking a break then continue when I need inspiration? Art is something to enjoy, if you have to view every single image then it will feel like a chore. But rest assured, the art I view I thoroughly enjoy through references,detail,or the sexy shading the art usually has.

Im sorry if I sound arrogant or stupid. But isn't a artist suppose to care for their work? Not how many people see it? I mean yes it might take me a while but eventually I will see all the art.

I agree it is very true that what matters is the work. But I see a watcher as a kind of relationship. Posting art is putting it up for the world to see. I think that watching someone means that you genuinely care for the artist not just the art. In my eyes art is a reflection of the artist. And seeing that artist develop over the years is incredibly important. Especially if an artist is posting. Because they are looking for feedback. If not then they are looking for the boost they need to keep going-learning that is. But that's just my opinion. Maybe I'm just being silly though ^_^

It's honestly not a bad thing to see as many as possible. But it means more to me when someone watches because they are interested in knowing the artist too. So I try to reflect that with my own watches.....try XD

O nonono I enjoy relations on sites. Plus im pacifist so I don't usually cuss at people so easily :P (depends on mood). Honestly with all do respect I understand your point of view however there are 2 sides to the view. One is every watch you give is a relation or it can be a request. The difference is if they accept your request like leaving a more....thought out comment instead of the copy paste "Thanks for the watch"
Ex: you and a couple others have gone beyond that point so if you want to talk to me leave something for me to go by and I will respond.
