Hate to sound like a stinge, but ...

First off, take all this with a grain o' salt. It's an unintentional wall of text, and I'm not very serious about it.
I love FA and all that, I'm cool with the UI upgrade and stuff, but there's one thing that this site has that I think has to change. Namely, the watching system.
Deviantart has the same deal, where you can view a list of your watchers and those you watch. But frankly, what I think sites like these miss are what other sites like Facebook and, yes, even Inkbunny are doing right. A simple ICON to represent your watchers/watchees (watchees??)! Cuz right now the only thing that gives me that is my perfectly NUKE-ABLE history of watchers.
Honestly FA gives me little incentive to browse other peoples' pages (not including when someone posts something new, which can be rare seeing as not everyone on here has an account to post art). Really, I'll have more of a reason to read a person's journal or see what they favorited if I glance at their avatar first. I may be linguistically inclined, but everyone agrees that seeing your pal's avatar is more reminiscent of your friend than their username in small, black text.

But then, there's a lot of interface things on this site that are in bad need of an upgrade. Someday they may very well be, but as it stands, this site's a little messy. And while other sites run things smoother (like IB, for instance), well, *everyone* is here. Gotta stick to FA for pretty much that reason.
