Me too! I like how he's a 3 mana Planeswalker that starts with 4 loyalty. That's pretty beefy for so cheap!

I love MTG but I'm still on the fence about planeswalker cards...however Ajani and Garruk are adorable

I agree with you, I've collected at least one of each so far. I use both currently Standard legal Garruks in my deck!

I'll show my age and bitterness and allow the flames to begin...ahem....there has never been a block as good as the Urza block, and there never will again. Although I love the Innistrad block very much. I finally got an angel deck out of it.

I love the Urza block, that's when I started playing Magic. Though I also love Invasion block, Mirrodin block, Ravnica block, and Time Spiral block. I have a hard time choosing my absolute favorite.

*Cuddles Corbel* Heh heh, great minds think alike. I loved invasion, onslaught and legions a lot too. I only began playing magic when I convinced my friend, a veteran player to help me make my first deck, an ape deck. (Gorilla Warriors, ancient silverback, gorilla chieftan etc) Still an old fav of mine.

I've thought about making an ape deck, but there just aren't enough good apes to make it a great deck. There are a few good ones. I hope they print more someday!

like, i know how the game works at a base level, i used to play it back in '98, but the game has advanced so much from then and i have
know idea what anything does. Its just not a game i can just sit down and play anymore. not without a huge amount of fucking around.

if i ever feel the need, ill play it on my PS3. That way if i dont get something, which is a lot cause of my reading problems, i have the game to

Well, local game shops often have Friday Night Magic on Friday nights, which are official, sanctioned mini tournaments with a semi-casual environment.

I love Garruk! He's probably my favorite planeswalker, tied with Gideon.

Gideon pretty awesome as well. If I could I would make a commander deck with all 6 colors, one for ech planewalker. (I for some unfamthrable reason consider "colorless" a color)

I'd love a commander deck with all the planeswalkers in it, but some of em are so darned expensive.
