Is that really the best use of your time? Reviewing shit that no one needs reviews of? Is your voice going to add something truly unique to the din of crap? if you insist on doing this just be sure to find at least one thing that sets your words apart. Find a unique voice.

Oooh, or a dozen unique voices. Speaking in creepy harmony. I don't know that anyone would come back twice, but years of therapy wouldn't stop that from being unforgettable.

I do impressions, but I don't think that's what Crave meant exactly. I've seen reviewers try to stand out by doing weird voices or gimmicks, and it doesn't work. Just seems like they're trying way too hard to be liked.

The BEST use of my time? Well, no, I suppose I could be ruling a small eastern European country with many exotic women draped over me while issuing crazy commands and having robots battle for my amusement.

It is, however, something I've had planned for quite some time. Cartoons are a passion of mine, always have been. I do a good enough job at it, maybe I can make a career of it. If I don't, it may just be something fun to do. If it isn't fun, I'll go back to doing what I do now. Creating unsuccessful webcomics.

Well, I hope you can make it work. All I know is that I'm getting sick of this culture of commentary we live in. Everybody wants to make money by commenting on the work of others, and there are fewer and fewer people that actually make anything. If nothing else you've already made stuff so you have filled your quota and should be allowed to rest from it.

Also I replied to this as I was falling asleep and looking back it seems like a really odd thing to take such a definitive stand on... I'm not sure why I was so passionate about the whole thing.

I understand. I am working on another actual project on the side, so I fully intend to keep creating new things. The review show will be just that, Reviewing. I know a few of the shows out there are just hyper critical about bad art and media, just yelling about how crappy everything is. But as a true fan of cartoons, the point of the show is to help bring awareness of old shows to new audiences and new shows to old audiences. There's a lot of good things out there thatyou just can't find outside of VHS (Cowboys of Moo Mesa) and a lot of stuff that's so bad as to be hilarious that you just can't find anywhere (Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, season 1). Or stuff like Cyber Six. It's a crime this show was canceled without a follow-up season, hasn't had a DVD release, and you can't even get the Comic because it's never been published outside its home country of Brazil, unless that's changed in the last 5 years.

I don't plan on being the villain from Ratatouille. 'I will destroy this restaurant with my WOOOOORDS! MWAhahahahahahhaaaaa!'

Well, at any rate you better put The Bots Master on your list. It is one of the worst cartoons to step out of the 90's, if I remember correctly, endearingly terrible.

Ooo, I've been wanting to do reviews for the longest time, too. And as an avid cartoon watcher, I have several suggestions for things you can cover:

Pirates of Dark Water
Wacky Races
Perils of Pennelope Pitstop
The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers
Silver Hawks

Galaxy Rangers....that one even I don't remember, but funnily enough I just bought the first DVD of the Silver Hawks. Good show in that cheezy Thundercat sort of way. I can see why it didn't get the same level of notoriety as Thundercats, despite being pretty much the same exact show but in space, but it's still so deliciously 80's campy fun!

Galaxy Rangers is a fantastically cheesy show. I highly recommend watching it. Wacky Racers is also very amusing. Also, Pirates of Dark Water is probably the best old cartoon ever and it got cancelled. >.<

Oh yes, Wacky Races was already on the list, as well as Laff-A-Lympics. And I almost bought Pirates of Dark Water yesterday, but I'd already gotten Silver Hawks, The new Thundercats and Last Unicorn. Had to make the tough choice.

However, Best old cartoon? I might argue that Sonic SatAM was a little better of a 'canceled before its time' show, but I wouldn't argue very hard. Both are amazing.

Also, Samurai Jack. How could they not conclude that? Oh never mind, this is what the show is for.

Zim will be reviewed, yes. I don't have a time limit like many reviewers do because good cartoons didn't stop being created. Zim's amazing, some of the new Marvel stuff coming out, Phineas and Ferb (which surprised me) and of course that Pony show. I'll add these to the list. thanks!

I personally support this project; the use of your time is what you make of it, and it sounds like something you'll have fun doing, regardless of recognition.Hell i pondered something like this myself for a while, but in the end i don't really have the time or tech for it and have other things I'd rather dedicate my time to. That said, I'd love to help out with this if I can.: )

The VERY FIRST 1980 MLP cartoon Rescue At (or From) Midnight Castle"...because frankly, it was an interestingly dark start to the whole thing (IMO).
Light Sprites ( first episode ) is very recent and just full of all the none-confrontational bullshit girls apparently love.Painfully...*sighs*...non-progressive.
Then something Australian (this is the only ..partial...episode I've been able to find but it gives a good taste I think)...I'll understand if it doesn't get covered.<X P
