step one: need to learn to pace myself more, now that i know what to expect though, next year is going to be a forking blast.
1. Talking with a fundamentalist christian while waiting for my friend lina at the train station, (myself decked out in goth regalia) and (hopefully) convincing him that while the salvation of christ is important, getting there involves love and tolerance. "Religion is like icecream, there's lots of different flavors of icecream, my favorite icecream is blue moon and yours is vanilla, im not going to change my favorite ice cream to match yours and vice versa, we need to respect that everyone who like icecream may like a different flavor than us, but that doesnt mean they're wrong for liking that flavor any more than we are, and of course, there are people who just don't like ice cream at all, you have to respect that too." "But is jesus the only way?" "Jesus is the way for christians, i can't speak for any other religion and frankly, neither should you."
2. going absolutely crazy in the Zoo with friends for the first time, and learning that DEVIA kept (a general? I think?) seasoned vetran from the army, sane through 4 deployments. It almost made me feel guilty that ive kept it on hiatus for my own stupid emotional reasons.
3. finding out that CRAZY PEOPLE is popular and adored.
4. Finding out the uber hot german wwII soldier-cosplaying german shepard was gay, and giving him a discount anyway 'cause thats how I roll. Crush crushed but hey hes still an awesome person i look forward to getting to know better as a friend.
5. playing Amnesia for 30 minutes infront of Usaden who bought it for me, and curling up into a ball of pathetic wimpering I WANT MY MOMMY after the first five minutes. I hope you enjoyed that you troll dragon.
6. Getting creeped on by an uber drunk creeper that wasn't even furry and have my harmless pervert friend Boyce play security.
7. Meeting Firefeathers in person. i was al OMGWTFBBQYAY but i tried not to fangasm.
8. meething The Gneech by accident, same goes for Goldfur.

If I can asks, how would you compare AC compared to other conventions you had been to before?
I hope I can go to AC again someday. Last was in 2006.
