Back from AC and STILL ALIVE!
To be honest, I'm surprised we made it back ... :3
So finally some post-AC summary:
The convention was amazing! I've never been to a convention as large as AC, few Anime conventions even come close..
We had to drive nearly 9 hours to get there -.- definitely not a fun experience...
We also finally had the chance to meet much of the Chakat community! That had to be my personal favorite part of the whole trip :3 We were greeted with many warm hugs. we got to meet nearly all of the famous chakat names out there, like
goldfur
werewolfss... x3 I even got to meet up with a few non-kats along the way as well :3
and of course meeting the artists is a must! I finally got to meet artists like
kacey
angrboda ... x3 I got about 3 commissions while I was out there, I'll be re-posting them as soon as i can :3
The panels were interesting and we went to many of the comedy ones :3 lots of fun that's for sure, we had a friend join us who wasn't a furry... I'm glad we went to the events every now and then to shake things up :3 though I really didn't have much time...
I was sincerely amazed by the organization of AC, it's SOOooo much better than many of the other cons i've been to.... especially the ones up in chicago... -.- The only problem we really had was trying to navigate through Pittsburgh... x3
Now that we're back and happy.... we're broke x3 ... no more adventures for some time please... x3 we are diffidently considering going to the Indy Fur Con in august ...
railrunner invited us to go, so we'll probably work something out with hir :3 turns out shi lives pretty close to us! which is awesome :3
I'm sure i left out all kinds of fun stuff that happened, but I just wanted to give a short summary and say that I enjoyed it a LOT :3
oh and I think it's important to mention that me and Fish will probably not attend next year... AC is a bit out of reach in terms of money... we just barely made it as it was.... but give us a few years and you'll probably see our faces there again :3 I definitely want to go again!

Its on my bucket list though.
It was super awesome meeting you and FEESH :P If it seemed like I was looking at you weird, it was for reasons a) I was tired and not acting like myself at all :P and b) your complexion didn't strike me as European, but it never occurred to me to ask what your cultural heritage was, so...what issit? D:
You asked about a ref, but I never gave you one; here it is http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5517247/
Make sure FEESH knows that what she drew for me is awesome and pinned above my computer. Traditional art is amazing <3
and it would be cool to get a shirt with all kinds of art all over it :3
I'm glad we could meet too! it was great to finally see you in person :3 and no worries about the awkwardness, I could tell we were both really out of it x3
and cultural background? that's a strange question... well technically I'm german/british ... so if that answers your question... *shrugs*
and I'm glad you have a ref sheet! i didn't know you had one :3 when did you get it done?
I'm glad you had fun!! i did too, i love you so much!! :3 *pokes you with Potato*
and why are we awake?
me and Fish are headed to Indy Fur Con and Midwest Fur Fest... if you make it to either of those, let us know! :3
and you live in Texas? i didn't know that.... that's pretty cool :3
anyways, so i suppose if you were to go to MFF, you'd have to grab a flight to Chicago? ... doesn't sound like it would be too expensive... but it might... i haven't looked into it
Ya, I prefer flying anyway, but as of right now it's 300 or so for round trip. Though the airlines normally have deals going on about a month or so in advance (but with that being near the holidays IDK...) Although, if I'm tight on money, I may take the train since it's normally about half the price...
ya, flight prices are really starting to get up there... and a train wouldn't be that bad of an option! would be kinda fun traveling back like that :3 and definitely more cost efficient... :3
oh and btw, I did end up meeting up with Sam as well :3
anyways, yes! we did get to meet Goldfur, it was great to finally meet hir in person :3 I was so excited and timid.... but it went well, shi's pretty nice :3
