SERIOUSLY PO'D AGAIN. FC 2013 Drama. (UPDATE)

Okay. Looks like Further Confusion 2013 is going tits up as well and not in a good way. Nynaeve was at Califur on the Saturday the FC 2013 website went live. The wording sounded like you could apply for and pay for a dealer's table ONLINE right when the website for the on went live. Nynaeve took lunch at 3pm, and hovered over the Fed-Ex computer and internet for half an hour...only to learn that the APPLICATIONS were available. You print those out, mail them in, and then get sent the payment info if you wanted to pay for it online. Well, due to it being 3pm, and no post office within reach before any of them would be closed, and the next day being SUNDAY, he mailed it off, by handing it to a mail clerk ON MONDAY, before he even returned the rental car he needed. Well, didn't hear a word since then, so we emailed the head of the dealer's room. We couldn't get a table. We're on the WAITING LIST. Which jkust kind of boggles the mind. Ever since...2001? 2000? I've been religious in hounding Nynaeve to get the FC tables. And every year there's never been ANY problems. And suddenly, this past year, EVERYTHING at damn near EVERY CON has been somehow fracked up or screwed up. Regardless, no table, no actual confirmation of a table, means no FC. If we can't even pay for the trip, we don't go, Pure and simple. Now granted the odds of me making a con are slim to none, it's still our main business over here. And this...well. This just seriously fracks things over, for the webcomic, the print comic, commissions, EVERYTHING. So needless to say, I am SERIOUSLY upset over here. Ranting, raving ANGRY MAD here. Comments questions and everything are welcome.
(UPDATE): Well, looks like our letter was post-dated 6-4-12. Which is three days after registration opened, and ONE DAY later then we actually handed the application over to the postoffice worker. Do the math. Screwed over big time. There were 12 spaces left for people whose letters arrived on 6/4, and 19 people whose applications were postmarked that day. Random picking ensued, and me and Nynaeve got screwed out of our space next year. As well, the Furry Market Place is NOT AN OPTION. We won't be able to sell 90% of our goods there. No adult material allowed whatsoever. That INCLUDES commissions, sketches, original art, sketchbooks, WHATEVER. Which I think is a joke, seeing as you can draw anything you want anywhere else at the con. Creators lounge, hotel lobby, sidewalk...but we don't make the rules. -.- Still screwed. Ahh well.

That means Steve is firked as well. And that will piss him off.
But I feel more sorry for Nyn. He deserves a break.
A) The website went live on the Saturday in the middle of Califur. Why?
B) Nynaeve sent the application in via snailmail on the monday immediately after the con at 7am. Handed it directly to a postal worker.
C) So how then could the list fill up so damn quickly? Alphabettically? I
I just don't know, and it's very upsetting. ten years or more we've been loyal FC dealers...and now THIS. This entire year just isn't working well for us. And the Furry Market place is not even worth considering. No adult material advertised, suggested, worked on or ANYTHING.
Either that or we do a "Screw everything and everyone and have fun down here" convention.
What I'm doing can be done out in the Marketplace this year for sure, anyhow, so worst for worse...
Also, I'll do what I can to pin down any rumors. I'm actually on FC staff as Operations. Mind, I can't get to any of the meetings, but I can poke people who are.

Blame Bob Dole, or that Romney fellow, it seems to work for the comedians!
Since I never bother with gatherings of any sort, I don't have that issue wif things. But, i can see where it would be frustrating.
Okay, only sarcastic thing I can think of saying to close this out is. At least you dind't paper cut off a finger, or cause any undue accidents to yourself lately so BE HAPPY! at least there is that. imagine if you had like a broken leg or arm and this happened on top of that.
