Anthrocon is like a pair of pants.

You don't realize you are wearing them until you stop wearing them. Then people judge you because you stopped wearing pants.
I had a ton a fun, it was all a blur and it basically left my mind and body an exhausted mess. I think of it as sort of a religious experience-slash-sadomasochism spirit cleansing ceremony where I barely eat or sleep, drink alcohol a bunch, and walk around in an oven-fursuit for 4 days until I'm about to die and then drive home. Unbelievable! But yet I still look forward to it and come back every year. (This was my fourth anthrocon)
My room mates were awesome, (Dingoroo, Artie, and Roco) I really couldn't have asked for a better room mate situation. I met a bunch of people, I somehow avoided a bunch of people I wanted to meet, I hung out with a bunch of people I had hung out with only a little bit before.
I did my typical walk around playing accordion thing. A lot of people responded positively to it, mostly infiltrator nonfurs! I need to learn more accordion songs. I also got really drunk Sunday and yelled at people. I apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings by the way! I always feel awful after i go on a drunk-fursuit insult rage.
I also got up the nerve to try out for the dance competition (thanks to Mozee and others pushing me a bit) and I amazingly made it in! I was completely floored when they called my name as a finalist. (like literally, I fell over onto the floor) Now you might be thinking to yourself, "Scurrow, I didn't know you could dance?" Well the truth is, I didn't really know either! It's just something I've gotten really into for the past year or so. If you told me 3 years ago I'd be on a stage in a squirrel costume popping and locking in front of 800 people, I'd tell you that you were crazy. I've always admired the dance-furs since my first ac in 2009, being on the opposite side of the stage this time was extremely surreal. It was probably the scariest thing I've ever done! The dance-furs seem like an awesome community though! Such a nice bunch of kids!
There's probably a youtube video of dancing, but I can't bare to watch it yet! If you want to know the name of the song I used, it was "Marrow" by St. Vincent. Definitely one of my favorite songs of all times! Here's the music video:
After the dance comp i went in the pool for a really long time with a bunch of friends. It was refreshing but kind of gross. I don't seem to have con crud or pool crud, though. Over all, I didn't really draw at all or go to a lot of panels! There was just too much going on. I had an opportunity to draw with a bunch of my favorite artists and I just couldn't sit still long enough to do it. Next year I'm going to make sure I do. After all, I originally joined furry for the art. It just seems like my fursuit performance is completely trumping my art, which I guess is fine also. I like doing both of those things.
Maybe next year I'll do a masquerade fursuit/accordion performance.
Probably one of the best feelings in the world is when you tell one of your favorite artists you love their art, and they in turn tell you they also love your art. That happened a few times at this con!
As I've stated before, I don't get PCD, i get post con rabies. My brain is pretty much still at the con! This community has not failed to amaze me yet, It's just as fun as when I started 4+ years ago! Thank you all for being great.

That buzzfeed thing, I can't believe i forgot to zipper my fursuit all the way for that picture! Fucking shit! But other than that, it's awesome. I just love attention.
AND JESTER HATS ARE COOL!
thing is st vincent is hella creepy too, in an awesome way -- pretty, waifish, lonely, and violent as shit.

Jeez, you're making me blush with all these compliments! Thanks a lot, glad you like everything I do and I'll keep doing it for the foreseeable future!
Yeah, and I miss you.I want to see you again as soon as possible.
Saw the video, you dance like I aspire to when drunk.
Nah, just kidding. Yeah, St. Vincent is amazing, I'm glad i went with that, though I was a bit worried it might be too creepy. I was between that, Sleigh Bells and LCD Soundsystem.
you'll be in the AC video Ill edit here within the next week or so
Ok i blushed!
I've never been to megaplex before, maybe one day!
Thanks a lot!
Except for that wavy-hand following thing, I've been doing that since 7th grade. (So 16 yearsish)
The voting thing was a cool idea, everyone got their own stock market tag. I felt like a stock!
I'll just leave this here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_gbFQfCSH0&list=UUv8UCdTZcB98fnkbNYgcd1w&index=5&feature=plcp
I only showed up for the end of the dance competition, having no idea you were in it, but started kicking myself for missing it as soon as I realized that you, someone who I had only ever seen dance like a spaz to polka, made it to the finals.
Don't worry, It's hard to make it on time the events! I just took my spazz dancing controlled it into weird robot movements. I've been spazz dancing for a while, maybe my spazz dancing actually helped when I decided to actually try and really dance? Who knows.
I spotted you once but I was too far away to say anything! See you at furfright?
I was laughing WAAAY too hard to see if they were mad X3
Probably not.
We didn't laugh at your performance though. It was fucking great!
