No big loss apparently

Well here's a whole new level of suck. The power supply to my laptop died a literal screaming death. so now i have to rely on a computer i built from garbage.
How does this affect me? well all my art progs and scanner driver and happy shit like that is on my laptop. so i can do no uploading or coloring or even photo refrencing.
I will go out to get a new supply but i have no clue what it will run me or if i will have to go to best buy or something or if radio shack will carry it. or if worse,.. the local custum computer store.
I dont have that much money.
not a big deal for the overall community but it sure sucks for me.

I know you are suggesting things and i am a member of the driver database. I hope to get this one up and running, and i want my laptop because all my cool stuff that is non transferable is on it and i cannot travel with my desktop.
But i may bring this one to full streinght if i do not burn something and keep it as a graphics com becaus ei just put a big grafics card in it.
