I am officially a member of the unemployed.
After last week's fiasco of my boss refusing to let me go to the daycare to pick up my sick Zoey who had hand, foot, and mouth disease (a childhood illness that lasts a few days) n forcing my hubby to drive an hour n a half to pick her up when I was 25 min away, yesterday my boss told me after I reported that I was going to the doctor about my gall bladder attacks on July 5th, she came to me and told me that she wanted it cancelled because it would "interfere" with her vacation time because she was already short staffed.
I just basically told her I'll pick up my check on Friday and that was that....
She was not running a pre-k/childcare up to legal levels (as well as having no license to have a seperate building for 1st grade+ which is required by law) and if they were caught, I would lose MY teaching license and certifications because I did not report it. I have an observation on Tuesday of next week where another school will see me in action and if they like me enough, I will have a new job.
I'm sorry I know I should have let her fire me but my license is too important to me and I know she wouldn't fire me because for those who do know... I have been the one she dumped on (ie, taking away my assistant and making me work with 16-18 3-5 year old kids when the legal limit set by the state is 8 kids to one teacher, telling me I "HAVE" to give them more honey buns if they want it, whenever they want, that no matter how hot it is, I can't bring the kids back into the classroom until SHE is ready for it because she only wants 2-3 kids in my classroom when she is in there, etc.)
Sorry for dumping on yuns.. but I needed a vent. Definitely need to figure out how to get some money in on the short term till I get a job.

Is there any way to annoymously report her with out the risk of losing your lisence?
