To Fur-b-q Security Staff...
Hello my friends.
I would like to start off by talking to my staff direct here. You guys [you know who you are] did a very good job given the timeline that you had to prepare to do the job. NOBODY blames any of you for what happened.
I know what you guys feel right now because I feel the same, So to tell you not to blame yourself, or to feel bad would be hypocritical of me. I know I feel partly responsible as well. The staff of Fur-B-Q want us to know that they support us and that despite a rather complex event, they know we did our best. We worked hard out there and they are very pleased with that.
You see the thing is, even if we had more security, or did more checks, yelled louder, or pushed harder, people will still find ways to do things behind your back. You all saw that with the events that happened at fur-b-q. Still, think of all the stuff we did stop, the people running towards the railroad tracks or onto police property, or the people who were drinking in the other lot, heck, we even told one of the paid crew members that she left her window open to her car. The fact is WE are human to, and we can only be in one place at a time. Things happen. Things will always happen. And thats why we were there.
So I want my security guys to look at things this way, Shit happened, O-well, it always happens, but it could have been much worse if you WEREN'T THERE TO STOP IT. So I ask that instead of apologizing, that my crew show support for the Fur-B-Q staff and Tony especially. They need it now.
And again, Thanks to the guys who helped with Security at Fur-b-q.

Security can only do so much at any given time, being a Security Officer out here in Colorado I can sympathize with what happened.

No prob, we in Colorado are keeping you all in our thoughts down here. I'm trying to see what we can rustle up during our Convention in Aug (RMFC) as support.

I am quietly beating myself up over things, feeling bad and still wondering how the incidents that happened were able to slip past us. I understand that we are all human and no matter how the best of precautions are taken that things can still occur... but it still hurts. I do plan on pitching toward the squad when I have a little more in the bank, and I wish I could go back up there and personally thank the chief and the crew for hosting us and dealing with all this fallout. I do hope that things end up coming to a head so the matter can be resolved. No more bad publicity needs to go to the department, or us in general for a careless act by a few individuals.

dont beat yourself us to much, I am doing that enough for all of us.
