So I said to my pencil the other day
So a month ago, I launched this insane idea, to fund raise $8,000 by doing 400 $20 sketch commissions, to get myself out of debt and into school.
A month later, and I'm at 2.5%, which, is a lot better than I had expected. It's more money than I had when I started. I'm noticing though, now that the initial rush is over that, well there's not really anything else coming in. I've only got a few commissions left to finish, and after that, I'm done what I've amassed.
So I'm curious about hearing from people, what might be causing you to pause and hold onto your money, or do you even know that I'm offering pencil commissions for $20? Is it the lack of concrete detail about what the extras at the end of the road will be?
I'd like to hear thoughts from other people about this.
Yes, I want your money, I don't just want to take it though, I want to deliver something worth that $20. So I really am curious about how I can make this whole process easier and more enticing.
