Mass Effect 3 ending rant

Here's my rant for the day :P
Alright then cause I'm bored as hell, and cause I forgot to do this earlier yesterday after I beat the game, here's my opinion about the ending to Mass Effect 3.
[SPOILER WARNING. DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE PLAYING THE GAME. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. ...unless you looked at youtube vids already ... lazy]
Now before I go on to say anything I'd like to put out right now that the game itself minus the ending is fucking bad ass, from beginning to bitter end. The series as a whole is awesome from start to end and quite frankly I'd play it again just because as should you if you want a good sifi action story, and playing it yourself would be a plus cause you can shape it anyway you want to which makes it more personal when you play it. Now that we got the plug out of the way onto the ending. In a word ... it sucked. SURPRISED 8D .... well you will be surprised to know that I'm not raging about it, it's really not as bad as people make it out to be. Yes I know the ending contradicts a LOT of what the game was supposed to be and it makes everything that was done before hand seem like it was all for nothing, but honestly that's not as bad as it could've been. However that's not to say that I didn't go "OMGWTF" when it put me smack dab in the middle where I had to make my choice. You can only imagine my reaction seeing the stand off between my Sheppard verbally square off against the Illusive Man, seeing him kill Anderson (didn't know if there was a way to save him so I waited for a paragon option, dumb me XI) and then in turn killing the mofo myself only to faint and get transported to a platform where the fucking kid from the dreams that my Sheppard has is watching everybody saying that he's the friggin Catalyst and the one who's been controlling the reapers the entire time.
.... I'm sorry but ... what? WHAT?!?! The fuck did you come from? All I know is that you were the kid in my character's dreams fucking with his head, literally appearing out of but fuck nowhere suddenly saying that you're the one who's been pulling the fucking strings saying organics and synthetics can't live among one another despite the fact that I busted my ass getting a bunch of races to work together. The Geth and Quarians included. FUCK. YOU. I don't care if my character's gotta die, they can always bring that mother fucker back. Hell if I have to make a choice that determines the fate of the universe fine it ain't the first time, seriously he's had to kill off a friend and send people on suicide missions if that ain't wrenching enough then I don't know what is. But this ... this was just lazy. It felt like they just put the god child (that's what I feel like calling him shut up :I) there just so they could have an excuse to say "here's your ending now go play" or something, I mean he just appears, says that he's the creator of the reapers and tells you that you have to make a choice and you just go with it. Why not just say "No fuck you kid, I just gathered half the universe together just to take out 'your' supposed creations. I've worked with synthetics, aliens who've hated my guts, people that wanted me dead the moment they looked at me and what did I do? I went in head with my allies and enemies in hand just to take them all out. Look at it! Look at it out there, yes we're getting slaughtered. Yeah we know it's pretty damn hopeless but you know what so what? We'd rather die giving it our all and giving you all kinds of hell rather than just lie on our backs and just become assimilated just because you don't see past your one sided views on order." .... of course that's just me -_-
To make it short just the "Catalyst" part made me face palm, everything else while being lazy isn't as bad as it could've been. Regardless this doesn't take away from the fact that this game is indeed good as well as the series itself. However if that supposed explination DLC says otherwise ... eh you know what screw it I really don't care. I'd really like to believe that they can't POSSIBLY make it worse than they already have. Till then that's my point of view, should you have any other opinions feel free to shoot off in the comments.
