You shouldn't let a handful of rotten eggs taint your perception or desire to associate with the fandom. I've run into my fair share, but the friends and others that I have that I talk to on a daily basis outstrips the negative by many orders of magnitude. It could also be that something happened to this person that messaged you. You never know what may be going on. If you later find out it's nothing and he was just a major twat, then move on to the next person knowing there's increasingly better chances they won't be the same.

I agree with this its just frustrating to me. Because unfortunately the negative outweighs the positives in the fandom for me. i dont really have fur friends. and all that comes my direction is shit like this, and or drama

eh i never take stuff like that personlay, furries are usualy hard to keep in contact with. im kinda guilty of the same as well haha always busy or never have time to go online. but dont let it get to ya

People like that are in all walks of life, not just the furry fandom. Time spent dwelling on those kinds of people, is time you could be spending making connections you do enjoy.

This happens to me more often in the furry fandom than anywhere else. And ive made far more bad connections than good lol
