Pretty much my idea after being away from journals since the days before AC, and my life updates in general. Would be interesting if I ran my own newspaper online for non-commission related classified. Yet, other than a journal - where would be a good place to post this? Hummm...

I kinda had a thought like Hypr was. Make a FA group for this. Have seperate journals that get updated every day / every other day. There would be one journal for selling supplies, buying supplies, and stuff like that. And then maybe once a week you could add another journal for a special sale people are going to be doing that week. Maybe even allow people to throw in pictures to use for submissions to feature them since we all know people look at pictures more then they read journals. =P

That would be a wonderful idea assuming I had a group that I managed. The only thing is selling up a system to have others tell me when they have sold/bought/or found what that are looking for and I can update accordingly - unless I only post these journals once a week.

Well.... of course you CAN update them more then once a week... =P And just have the people who come to you to post their ads tell you when they have been filled and/or claimed. =3

True. Although every week, I could just have a clean slate. Which is why I like having end dates instead of finding out the journals are deleted or worse never been updated.

I am so into this idea. ^^ Something at least updated weekly. got to make sorting through a pile of journals make sense to me somehow.

I used to do the ADLM spotlight, basically a daily journal might be the thing or a journal posted every 2 days, and post artists selling commissions, fur etc

Trying to list every artist and link to their commission prices sounds more like an artist database than a newspaper. Yet, this list is HUGE. O_O That is why I just limited this to the topics listed above. I would suggest two things. One firm clear end dates for how long specials/sales are going for. Two, artists tell us when to take down the add - especially if commissions fill up quicker than expected.

This is an ingenious idea. I am sure many would be keen in contributing something to it.
Other than a journal you could probably post this as a new account on FA, if FA will be accommodating. I see no reason why they shouldn't.
