Colorado Wildfires [UPDATED 2.2]

I really shouldnt have to tell any of you any of the details, so I'm going to bring a few things to general attention. I've been getting a lot of pictures, and hearing a lot of the stories...

IF ANYONE IS ABLE TO HELP OUT: there are plenty of people being displaced and left homeless by these fires...so for our part, let's do everything we can, at the very least, to help out our own.
AeroCollie made a shout on the front page this morning, for example, that he has been left homeless because of the inferno. I dont know what the situation is for him, currently, but please offer him (and others like him) as much support as you can.
Next on the list is a small fundraiser being headed by
KemarCyri Every bit helps, so if you choose not to participate in the fundraiser, see if there isnt something else you can do. Details below.

I am mostly content with not having a television and not watching T.V. However, sometimes something huge and devistating happens, and unless it blows up my twitter, facebook, or Reddit, I usually don't hear about it. And for some reason, I just now got wind of the raging fires going on in Colorado.
This is horrifying - the fire is nigh uncontainable and has already destroyed hundreds upon thousands of homes, and claimed who knows how many lives of humans and their fuzzy companions.
Sadly I cannot be of much help right now, so tomorrow at 3pm PST I will be holding a charity livestream.
Pay whatever you like, donating to the Colorado Red Cross or other disaster relief efforts. There is a list of places you can donate here. I would suggest the red cross because they are easiest to donate to, but I will accept proof of donation from any on the list except the salvation army. (I do not agree with their ethics and their opposition to human rights efforts.)
If there is an option to donate as a "gift", please enter the email as kemarcyri[at]gmail.com and the name as Cyri. That's the easiest way to get the proof to me quickly and painlessly.
What is drawn depends on the donation amount. $1-$5 would be a chibi or sketch or icon. $6-$10 might be a full-body colored sketch, $10-$15 might be a full colored one-person drawing, so on and so forth. If I get any large donations that will take a considerable amount of time, I will probably start on it, and finish it over the next few days in-stream, if there are others waiting.
PLEASE pass this journal around so others know about it - hopefully we can get a healthy crowd in the stream tomorrow to help out.

I don't have much to offer, but I can raise money for the cause if need be, and if anyone's interested. I may also donate some of my money towards the livestream. I'm devastated...
This is very personal for me. Although I am currently out of state for school, our house is likely gone - it was dead center in the first neighborhood in the Springs to go up. My family is safe with a friend, and insurance will cover it, but there were a lot of fond memories there.
They are some amazing pictures, but frightening. The first one is very close to my house.
They should try a airport chemical fire truck? Drop a mega-huge CO2 canister bomb? idk
We've been in a drought since I was in elementary (I'm a high school graduate now) and it just doesn't show any sign of raining... and when it does, its just lightning...
So mother nature is not on our side. :(
