The furry hate and completely lax, even complicit attitude towards trolls on DA keeps me away. And makes me roll my eyes when people complain about the FA mods.

I just went to look at it myself, and yeah, that was rather rude. And then they were saying how "you should" isn't a command...
um... YES IT IS. The fact it has "should" in it is a command in itself. There is no "in my opinion" to start it off, either.

I saw the comments he left on there, i thought it was completely out of line and really douchey of him to say. it's really none of his business if you take commissions on gaia, and it's super childish of him to be directing his dislike for the site towards you :|

Turns out I'm not the only person he's targeted. Someone posted a journal about him saying he actually went out and said someone's art was shit and tried explaining his actions as constructive criticism and "Just giving my opinion"

woooow....really?? ok, there's giving an opinion, and then there's just being a jerk. i don't really understand why people like that feel as if they HAVE to go on a personal crusade with stuff like this. Especially over a website like gaia online, of all things 8| and of course, oh no..YOU are the one in the wrong for not going belly-up and agreeing with him. I hope he leaves you alone >:/ he just comes off so pretentious.

I blocked him because I'm pretty sure he wouldn't stop. He is a massive idiot. It seems from other conversations he's so focused on trying to be right that the point flies way over his head

I wish I could. I have a short temper just like my father. On top of that I get cranky when in pain and my wrist is sprained including my entire right arm feels like a giant bruise so I'm very cranky. It's like trolls know when I'm in a bad mood. I do rather enjoy seeing them struggle to come up with decent excuses to bag on me for shit that I do.

DA is ok. It's just some trolls drive me crazy. the mods are ok. they haven't really given me trouble. they've taken down some of my art but gave me reason and linked me to the area where it says in the rules and it seems like they have been doing something towards trolls. They have been banned for harassing, I've seen it. I'm not going to leave the site because unlike this site my art doesn't get ignored if I post something that isn't sexual or pornographic or even just human. also there are some highly admired artists on there and I mean professional artists who've worked with Disney and on comic books like Chris Sanders who did Lilo and Stitch and How to Train your Dragon as well as Dave Elliot Who in fact has Checked out my stuff and is keeping watch of me. These types of artists I want to keep a hold of so I CAN get a job in this field of art. I went to college for it and I have watched people get good jobs from being on DA. And the mods on here I'm not too big a fan of...well just a couple but it seems to cherry pick on getting to certain problems. I dunno that's just my opinion. I like DA. Just sometimes you get unlucky and wind up with a troll.
