The entirety of the act has been upheld, but the Fed's rights to limit state's Medicaid funds has been "narrowly read," whatever that means...
Huh, looks like they threw out the Stolen Valor Act, too...

102 degrees today. I'm wilting. =_=
I ordered new glasses yesterday, and I'm getting my iPhone July 1st. Right now I'm waiting on
Lucca_manadragon for more inked stuff, I'm afraid, although I'm working on several surprise sketches, stories, and a number of interesting personal pics I hope y'all will like. *smiles*

Canada is so proud of you.
Which raises the question of how much it'll hurt when we inevitably fall flat on our faces. 0.0
then why is it unconstitutional to speak slander or broadcast libel? for instance: obamacare creates a system that only reinforces the stereotyping that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. and furthermore is designed to weed out the poor by effectively disallowing people that can not pay for fixing themselves to simply be unable to access health care.
true or not, it's libel due to defamation: but the question rest in the fact if it's a lie, then by the same logic of why they took out the Stolen Valor Act, i am protected by the first amendment.
which implies that if i WAS able to be prosecuted: it would be true.
yeah. america. the greatest country. yet we seem to be collapsing in real time. flaw in logic here somewhere.
Because it goes along with the old saying: "Your right to swing your fist ends at my nose."
the only flaw in your logic is them: THEIR right to swing their fist, obviously doesn't end at your nose.
after all, why have rights, if everyone else can also have them? that's unfair.
>..> logic of masses. got to love it.
and no- it's not quite unconstitutional to speak slander or broadcast libel. think about it: how many stations are actually dedicated to programs that are in all technicality nothing more than scripted slander or end purposeful libel.
nothing ever happens to them. only two logics: it's either not REALLY unconstitutional. OR.... the companies have to much money for the law to apply to them.
logic 2 is probably more plausible. after all, money means more than life. and laws are less than life.
