I was wondering if anyone has modified a pacifier/dummy before and could give me some advice. Basically I've got a plain Nuk5 and want to put a different shield on it. I did goggle it and found a few methodologies.

These first two I either couldn't get to work. Maybe I'm just not that strong but even using a knife (and yes I got an owie so be careful if you try it) I couldn't get anything to separate on a nuk or mam paci.
