I just spent 10-15 minutes running the numbers and here's what I found out.
Currently, not accounting for change in sales on skins or champs, and also not accounting for the upcoming Jayce champion, if you were to spend enough money to buy all the champs and all the skins, it would cost you in the neighborhood of $2450-2700, depending on how you bought the RP. Buying $50 at a time would actually lower the cost in the long run because of bonus RP points with each purchase, while spending $5 a time would run you up in the $2700 region.
Needless to say, that's too much fucking money.
