An Ass Unplugged

Hello FurAffinity,
The storm that blew through the DC area late in the evening of June 29 turned the sky alternating hues of red and green, knocked out our power, and installed a three inch unglazed skylight in our roof. The power came back on for us after 24 hours, but our cable, phone, and, most crucially, internet, remained inoperable. It did not return until this morning.
I could access my e-mail at the office, but visiting FA while at work feels wrong on multiple levels.
And that is why I haven’t been around lately. Now it’s time to get caught up.
I missed you.
Curing my withdrawal,
Kinto

OP
I tried to write some while I didn't have horses shouting at me over the internet to distract me, but I didn't get anything completed.
