Simple. I had an epiphany. Just a moment of clarity, and everything made sense. Nothing really special. I'm going to stay here. In a few weeks, when my daughter has to go back to Missouri to go back to her father, I'm going to stay there for up to like two months. When I come back, it'll be a month, maybe two-ish before Chance can come move up here and we can move in together and finally have some peace. That's about it. It means he moves once, and I don't have to move to MO, move again, and then back to Cali. It makes my life so much easier. I was having severe anxiety attacks last night because of all of this crap, so this makes my life so much more easy to deal with.

I admit I'm curious too about what miracle occurred to let things settle out so much better. =^.^= But still... first and foremost, happy as heck this worked out! :D

My "husband" doesn't have an FA, and it's not like anyone is going to start anything, cause every furry I know can't stand him anymore because of the crap he's put me through. So yeah. Yeah. Once you really think about it, it's not that bad. I just have to get along with my "husband" until I can leave. I just hope he won't be a pain in the ass about splitting the furniture and shit when Chance gets up here. I don't want to have to buy *everything* for a new home when I move out. I'll figure something out.

And honestly, look into what you want to buy now, if you can, that way you'll know what to fight for instead of getting caught up in evenly dividing things. :) Or so you might find good deals on what'cha want, since it is a really good chance to get new stuff if it's worth getting I'd think. That's honestly what I did when I moved from KCMO->St.L, I left my furniture behind and have been buying new.

A lot of furniture can be had awfully cheaply if ya' and Chance don't mind something minor like putting it together (and I don't mean Ikea, I mean grab a power drill and put screws in pre-drilled holes) and staining it if it's wood. Like a really good queen-sized bed can be had that way, solid wood bedframe w/ a moderate to firm brand new mattress for around $700 or so that way. Teensy bit more (like $50-100 more) if ya' want it to be a high-rise bed, so the bed has ~24 inches of room underneath instead of the more normal 8-12 inches.

Oh yeah, I have no problem building furniture and what not. Honestly I don't really care if he keeps everything, it's just less of a pain if I have some stuff to start out with, you know? We're already squabbling over the kitchen appliances..... >.<

Ugh... yeah, I can imagine. >_< I'm thankful, gimme a couple stainless-steel pans, a break-maker, and a couple good knives and a spatula, I'm set. XD

Well, that's part of the problem. My mother gave me a stainless steel, copper bottomed pots and pans set for our wedding gift. He doesn't want to let me take it. I'm about to have a fit. Mom intended it for both of us to use, but she gave it to ME. I want mah damn cooking set! That and the nice silverware my grammy gave me. Simply because it came from my grammy, and she won't be around too much longer. Other than that, I want my workshop tools and I'm content. I'm seriously not that hard to please, he's just being a dickwad. >.<

Well yeah... I'm honestly not surprised, he's got nothing left to lose at this point and he knows it, so he'll fight tooth and nail for everything he can. :/ It'll likely end up before a judge, honestly. :C

I'm not sure. If I stand my ground, his self esteem will crumble, and I think I'll be able to get what I want. I seriously only want the pots and pans, the silverware, and the stuff that I came with. I don't really care about any of the other furniture. I really don't. I just want the stuff my family gave me. My ex took everything my family gave me, so I don't have any of it anymore. I'm not going to let that happen again.
