June 29th may be my birthday, but I am looking at making a new one on July the 3rd.

Now that I am in my hotel recovering from it all I can go a bit more in depth. The surgery took 2.5 hours to complete and I was another 2.5 hours in the recovery room after it was done. The doctor said that my liver was
"perfect" and that sticking with the OptiFast like I did made his job "A piece of cake, so to speak".

There was a fair bit of pain, I will admit it, and there still is, as I am still bloated from having my stomach inflated for the surgery, but that is slowly going away.. and I am going to just leave that up to your minds to decide where that excess gas is going ;)

So I am enjoying my whey isolate protein powder, and soon to be enjoying a small portion of soup and some pudding for dessert.

So in spite of it all, in spite of the pain I am in, and the steps I have to take now, I think that I am going to make this work. Nothing is going to stop me that is for sure!

July 3rd.. .My new birthday.. the day I changed everything in my life to try to make it better for me and the ones I love.
