so the family friend found a bucket of goldfish that got left at the bar she works at and i found the largest fish bowl i could and snagged one.

he's quite fiesty...i want to name him but i'm bad at keeping fish and don't want to name him only for him to die. :(

does anyone have some good tips on goldfish keeping? i'm reading up on them but more info wouldn't hurt. I always seem to kill them when i change the water, even when i let it sit for two days...

my concerns are:

oxygen for fish
food (he hasn't eaten since i've got him...i offered him some a few hours ago but he wasn't interested. how long does it take for a fish to get comfy enough to eat?)
temperature (still kinda cold in the morning)

i guess if he's still alive in the morning, i'll get some fish flakes (i'm feeding crushed fish pellets)
