Back pain -- help?
I've been having this awful pain in my upper back since last night, specifically in the left shoulder blade area. :/ Whenever I inhale deeply or move my back/arm a certain way, I get a sharp jolt of pain throughout the back of my ribcage. It seems to hurt worst when I'm leaning back or arching my back. I'm really baffled about why this is happening because I haven't been physically active lately and the pain pretty much appeared out of nowhere. I was reading a book in bed last night when I noticed that my upper back felt uncomfortable, and now it's evolved into this.
I don't have any theories other than maybe I slept oddly and pulled a muscle, but I'd think it would've started hurting earlier in the day, not right before bed. I Googled the symptoms and the results mostly mention lung, ribcage, and muscular injuries... I'm not sure if I should be worried, or if the possibilities are just making me paranoid. D:
If anyone has any advice about what this could be, I'd be really grateful. I might not visit a doctor unless it gets worse, because I don't want to make an unnecessary trip and get charged for a visit if it turns out to be nothing.

Thanks for the help!
Regardless, glad I could help!
Just updating: the pain seems to have disappeared now. I still get the occasional small twinge when I move my arm/shoulder a certain way, but it's not nearly as severe as before. I'm still baffled as to what could have caused it, but at least it's stopped now. :3 Thanks again for the help!
