JESUS DICK I'M SO F-ING HYPED RIGHT NOW
Well... Got another email from UCAS, saying something changed on my UCAS Track thingy, so logged in to it...
Turns out that what had changed what that I've now got a conditional offer on my Games Development course, and I've still got the interview regarding my Animation course.
JESUS DICK OF COURSE I'M GOING TO BE HYPED ABOUT THIS, WHY WOULDN'T I BE
I JUST NEED TO GET THE RESULTS
AND THEN I'M FUCKING PERFECT FOR NOW
Or something along that line. :3

I'm gonna be taking a course on 3D modelling & Animation pt.1 at my college for game developing and such. *high-paws*
If you have a good computer and can afford the packages, you can learn everything else online and easily find forums of people to discuss game design with. I fully admit the atmosphere was great, being around loads of like minded geeks for a couple of years but barley anyone got anything out of it to my knowledge at the end of the course. Aside from the friends I made I really regret taking my game design course, I just hope you have a better experience.
These courses seem more like cash grabs to attract students who just like videogames. If I could do things again I'd definitely would of spent my money on the equipment and packages of my choosing and found people and learning material online.
My course was a real, overcrowded, understaffed, underequipped shambles, just make sure you really know what your huge student loan is paying for and where you will be after 3 years. Best of luck man.
Also, for animation, always look at the work the final students have produced. I was put off 2 animation courses at 2 different unis after seeing what the final year students had done. Sure, maybe one or 2 okay ones, but 90% were nothing you'd expect from 3 years of education.
