Today is April 25th, where all across Australia we take the time and effort to remember and celebrate the thousands of Australian and New Zealander warriors, all the young and hopeful who lost their lives fighting in a war that wasn't theirs.. As pointless as it was, they were the bravest soldiers on the field, their love of this country and their undying loyalty and duty to protect it in however they thought was necessary, and in doing so they shall never be forgotten.
Their memories will live on, and with them, the lessons we learned.

I'm not much for celebrating war, or condoning it in any way, but to those people go my deepest respect.
