An observation regarding furry gamers.

This is just something I've come to notice, but most of the furry gamers I know tend to gravitate more towards the RPG genre than others. I'm curious as to why this is. Do you think it's because furry is more of a "dorky" hobby or do you think it's just because a disproportionate amount of furries to non-furries RP in their spare time on forums and stuff?
This is just something I'm curious about.

I personally prefer puzzle games and action games, but I think that fantasy escapism is a huge theme in the fandom, and it makes sense that a fantasy or wildly out of reality RPG would be more appealing to those who have more affinity with that sort of mindset and suspension of disbelief.

good question. I think your RP theory makes sense. Furries do seem to RP a lot more than non-furries. I have the tendency to play more RPGs than anything esp. recently. And not only do I RP as in table top RPGs but I also do the online type of role playing, but that actually only started happening fairly recently. Interesting observation.
