I think this should be da same as with races... not "special" rights; they should be treated as equals. They're people.

Actually, as far as I recall (without actually reading the Bible myself, going off second-hand knowledge), there is nothing in the Bible about homosexuality or gay marriage. At the very least, there's nothing negative about gays or something to that effect.

It's fine stating your opinion of the issue, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I disagree as well. I don't really like the idea of suggesting marriage is only for straight couples, either it should be for everybody or nobody. It just isn't fair to single out certain people because of what they like. If gay couples don't want to get married, it's the same thing as if a straight couple doesn't want to marry, right? Only difference is gays aren't allowed to marry because of the laws even if they want to. Though I am glad you at least don't have the mindset that gay marriage is a terrible thing that'd somehow destroy straight couples or something stupid like that, which I hear tossed around a lot.
