so basically, to my understanding, what happened according to direct TV is that Viacom wanted to all of a sudden charge 30% more for their channels. for channels we were already getting. they were coming on with an all or nothing sort of deal which is quite a few channels. the ones that affect me are Nicktoons Network, Nickelodeon, TeeNick (when they play 90's cartoons). and quite a few others. I was following it since like 2 days ago, direct tv made alt channels with a looping message from the CEO that basically said, we aren't having this BS and were going to talk to Viacom and may end up pulling the channels.
