Yea, I don't really understand why they couldn't give him that short muzzle that he has in the comics. Couldn't have been too hard.

I haven't had a chance to see it yet. Overall would you say the movie is good? o3o

Yeah. I'd say it was good overall. Denis Leary's acting was the most wooden I've seen in years and uncle Ben is a total nag-mister. There was a half hearted attempt at, "This is New York. You mess with one of us you mess with all of us", but overall the movie had great popcorn value.

*spoilage* My inner comic geek whines about the only time they attempted to show the lizard (Dr. Curt Connors) was smart was him mixing some liquids left out in a school and making a quick little bomb was completely trite. The lizard was a scary villain in the comics because he had brains and brawn, but the way they tried to show that was completely ridiculous. Then he did something good just at the end and yeah. The director lacked focus. So much seemed rushed at the end.

Overall I liked this remake. Though thats partly because I dislike Tobey Maguire's acting. However it was balanced out by Willem Dafoe in the first movie of the previous set. I suggest you wait three days for batman if your on a budget.
