we've been in a drought for the past six months or so, but lol the past few days has made up for it.
the rain yesterday just about obliterated one of our main avenues as we were driving home to rescue Koda. the police had set up barriers to block off the entire south side of town (where we live), and Koda was trapped in our house for 7 hours until we were able to get to her. :'( poor girl.

luckily we have a big truck, and we were able to put it into 4-low, and get across a newly formed river that the police hadn't blocked off yet. (lol to any of you who saw the video or pictures on my facebook).

fun times. XD if the storm is traveling to anyone else, stay safe! it's pretty nasty lol


also, my birthday is monday. so i'll probably take the day off since my mom is making the drive up to see me.
