SOOOOOOO fun fun FUNITY FUN. My parents have temprorarily kidnapped me to "go north" and visit relatives we were SUPPOSED to get back to my place tomorrow (sunday) drop me off, and be on thier way. but NOOOOOOO now im being dragged agaisnt my will to go to a graduation part for the son of a cousins cousin. ..... le twitch. Which means we'll get back to my apartment late which means i wont be able to stream unless I do it while they're there, not a PROBLEM but depending on when we arrive probably means it will be too late to start.
NOT happy about missing 3 days of work and while i would usually forfeit my days off i now have (mUCH NEEDED) prior comittments.
So we're going to be doing some super special....um... special streams for the next few weeks. First off MACRO monday on monday, Cohosted by my awesome friend Jadedfox. sometime in the NEARISH Future we're going to have another starwars day, also I have a final fantasy day and a Fennec day. I also want to have a day for Avids, I need practice drawing our fine feathered freinds and usualy use specials as an excuse to practice things im perceptibly weak at.
SO! yay. I know it seems like i make ALOT of money doing this but please note it doesn't streach nearly as far as i'd like it to and missing 3 days of work is making panic like nothing else. Sooo there's where i'm at, specials and stuff.
A thing of note i'd like to point out before i end this. I realize that certain speedpaints have been given.... brow raising looks and comments on how they are priced.
MY clients pay the prices, have worked with me and know how i run my business. I do art ON DEMAND, for relatively cheaply, and do it and get it to you all in one godforsaken evening MAYBE two if its bigger. If random idiots off the street who DON'T know me DON'T know my practices, and think the prices they garner is CHARITY. LET. ME. HANDLE. THEM. I am not the type who blocks people, hides comments, or backs down when i feel wronged by someone. If i haven't said anything that means there is nothing that needs to be said, haters are gonna hate, while i APPRECIATE when people ride in on white horses to defend me and my honor, it also undermines my standing with them for whatever reason that I'm suddenly expected to personally defend myself. I may want to, i may feel its not worth my time.
Again i appreciate people who love me and respect me enough to come to my defense it makes me feel loved and i get warm fuzzies when it happens, but unfortunately for the haters out there, they bash whiteknights and it hurts me to see my friends raked over the coals for MY sake. its like taking a bullet for me. OMG IM ALIVE... OH MY GOD MY FRIEND IS HURT IM GONG TO KILL SOMEONE! it makes me angry and i want to run to YOUR defense.
so while i cant tell you guys what to do insomuch as gently nudge you to say, when your whitenighting, please whitenight responsbily. :p

Sadly, haters come with the territory of being a talented artist - or really, talented at anything. People are full of hate, and that hate is multiplied when they feel like they're behind the impenetrable barrier that is the internet. My best advice is to just ignore the haters; hide their comments to prevent massive fallouts, and move on. Once they see that they can't get a rise out of you/your followers, and that their words won't cause a ton of drama (which these kind of people FEED on) they'll lose interest.
They're not untouchable, it's just not worth the jail time. And the cleaning bills.
And stay strong despite re:parents!
but try and enjoy yourself if you can, and hopefully we'll see you soon.
On the rest of the subject I can only say two things.
1) Prices are reasonable if you get enough sales. Period.
2) Nice typos in last four words ;) Especially given where I am ;)
and yes i will make sure to announce a few days in advance, Macro Monday will be tomorrow without fail, and Either the Fennec day or the Avian day will be on thursday this week. ONE of the two, i need to do two events this week to make up for 3 days lost income. I should be starting early on thursday anyway to make sure my european friends are able to attend easily.
If you'd like to reserve the first slot of the evening please let me know and when i list the slots the day of, you'll be first in line.
On that note where you mentioned losing productivity because you parents dragged you off to some cousin's graduation, this is just my observation but why not approach them and ask for a lil monetary compensation? I mean, they are responsible for temporarily kidnapping you and now you are being dragged against your will, to me it only seems fair that they compensate you for the money you could have earned from art sales should you have held your nightly livestream.
Anyways, that's just my $0.02.
