Could mean there a new season starting soon, but I think the most likely answer is that the cost for the distributions right recently fell.

well i know that the newest digimon series in japan ended so might have the english version rolling over soon 8V and wouldn't be surprised if that was the case since digimon is not really popular besides in Japan and internets XD
