I don't like the military.

I work with a guy who has cerebral palsy. my schedule has been changing around a lot, but for a while I was working with him in his office. This week has been so bizarre though, I could write an essay on it. Long story short, my stress level is high.

That's fair, most people don't. You can lump me in with them.

Though honestly for me it's just like working an office job. More or less I'm doing EXACTLY what my mom does in the civilian world, 'cept I get a shit ton more benefits. XD

But holy crap, that's awesome and shitty at the same time. TAKE A BREAK, SON. Go to the beach or cuddle with your beau in bed or summin'. <3

And yeah, the positive side of this is I will be getting money!

I've had bad times at work like that before. I always used to open when I was in Virginia working at Pep Boys service department(one of the good ones), and one day the manager asked me if I could stay a little late helping him move some boxes. I, of course, agreed to do it. So I ended up working in the garage from 7:45 in the morning to 9:30 at night, and then after we closed up I went to help move boxes. Turns out he meant the truck tool boxes, and we had over 200 of them in the store, and they were all on top of the shelves. So I stay and help take down every single one, and subsequently put them all back up in a different order, and manage to get a free bottle of poweraid out of it. By about 5 or 6 in the morning we get done and I head home, shower, and head to bed. I didn't mind so much because it was good overtime and I didn't have to work the next day, as it was Saturday. So I get a call several hours later, at about 9:45, from the service department manager asking if I can come in and work, since the two guys on the schedule didn't show. So, of course, I did. But that was a hell of a good paycheck, and nobody said a word that I was getting too much overtime. And now that I wrote a nearly irrelevant story that's too long for anyone to read, I'm going to leave.

But life is much more rewarding when it's HARD AS HELL, or at the very least it makes for much better stories

I don't envy you. My old job was a nasty combination of longer hours (sometimes around 15) but fewer working days. I kinda liked having fewer working days, though.
