This isn't news; noisefurs brung up the same point, though did so far less tactfully.

I still think the better and more effective method isn't to bad mouth the mods and shout empty threats of anarchy through a journal post; rather, be polite and get the support of a large number of people who share the same/similar belief/s via a peition or somethign similar, then email the aggressing mods or even Dargoneer to fix the problem. Afterall, they dont' owe us anything; it's their site and thye can do what they want with it. It's our job to convince them why they shouldn't stifle our creativity and/or prove our relevance to the larger furry community. This open letter-form rant's don't rock the boat but they don't move it forward either.

I hate to be the one who doesn't practice what he preaches, but I've got my hands tied up in too much other stuff atm and to top if off I'll be gone all week.
