Life Altering… Well, kinda'.

So, yeah. Thinking about getting some ink done… I've already picked a piece of art I absolutely love- no, its not one of mine… It looks like sometime soon, Fluttershy is going to be gracing probably my Left shoulder, because the flow of the composition looks the best there. Am I crazy? Oh, yes.
Conventional wisdom states that tattoos make one totally badass. This is only amplified when they depict little pegasus ponies with fluorescent pink manes. I can't wait to show her off at the local biker bar. Eh, maybe not…

FA+

I luckily DIDN'T get that Marilyn Manson tattoo when I was in highschool.
As much as I still dig the guy, I'm glad I don't have to look at an album cover when I get out of the shower
Though, of course I wouldn't fault you if you did. It's whatever you want. People have some really whacky tattoos, you just need a sense of humor in case someone starts giving you a good teasing about it.
Of course, for me, Fluttershy means a bit more than just some character on a show that I currently follow. As an artist, the characters I follow tend to stay with me pretty much forever- I never stop liking them. They become a part of me, almost like having a child and watching them grow up. I have my own characters, of course, but I feel that it would be vain to have them added to my body, just as I have very few (if any!) pieces of my own art hanging in my house, I wouldn't want a tat of Ober on my shoulder, either.
Either way, I'm going to ruminate on it a bit. But if season 3 kicks ass, its pretty likely…
