I've never had the desire to get a tattoo. They hurt too much and start to look awful when you get older. Also, years and years down the line, when the MLP thing has passed, someone will look at your shoulder and see a pink pony. X3

Yeah, one of the reasons I have never gotten a tattoo, a piercing, or anything similarly permanently body-altering (aside from surgeries like wisdom tooth removal that were medically necessary at the time): I know I could regret it and be stuck with no way of going back on it.

I luckily DIDN'T get that Marilyn Manson tattoo when I was in highschool.
As much as I still dig the guy, I'm glad I don't have to look at an album cover when I get out of the shower

Though, of course I wouldn't fault you if you did. It's whatever you want. People have some really whacky tattoos, you just need a sense of humor in case someone starts giving you a good teasing about it.

Yeah, I know… Its hard to imagine what things might come along in our lives to make us reflect badly upon decisions like this far in the future. I've seen some pretty wretched tattoos out there- I don't know how yellow would hold up long term, or the pink for that matter.

Of course, for me, Fluttershy means a bit more than just some character on a show that I currently follow. As an artist, the characters I follow tend to stay with me pretty much forever- I never stop liking them. They become a part of me, almost like having a child and watching them grow up. I have my own characters, of course, but I feel that it would be vain to have them added to my body, just as I have very few (if any!) pieces of my own art hanging in my house, I wouldn't want a tat of Ober on my shoulder, either.

Either way, I'm going to ruminate on it a bit. But if season 3 kicks ass, its pretty likely…
