Greetings One & All
I'm just not sure what to call this journal. I have lots to say....so, here goes:
First: I just want to thank everyone for the recent birthday wishes! Overall it was good. I wouldn't mind getting older if my body wouldn't act so old!!! :/
Next: I am so touched by the love given to me after I found out my dad's house. I have been talking to my dad's lawyer & we have petitioned the court to allow some money from the estate to be use to pay the back amount due. I have another appointment with the lawyer tomorrow. Hoping for the best.
Next: I'm still working some overtime, but nothing like I did in June. Only 5 to 10 extra hours a weeks. (Not 20 to 25 hours - which almost killed me) Which I'm gonna need soon. :)
Hmmmm.....I guess the next thing is to let everyone know that on top of the house issue, crazy work load, dealing with a teenager (NOT even going into that!!!), my brother had a mild stroke last Friday (the 13th). The doctor believes he will make a full recovery. His right arm has little to no strength/feeling. But the rest of him seems to be doing well. Like most people, my brother has made some stupid mistakes in his life, sadly, a number of his 'friends' have deserted him in his time of need. I am not one to turn my back on anyone...
Happy news now: Despite that I have saved for MegaPlex & then had to loan it all the my brother (the one mentioned above), I have managed to save enough again to go to MegaPlex. My funds will be much tighter now, but I'm still going to be there. I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends, new friends & meeting some online friends for the first time!! There are so many furs that I am looking forward to seeing!!! If I haven't met you yet & you're going to be at MegaPlex, that should change!!!! I will be wearing my normal Hawaiian shirt, bright colors!! And, yes, I will have some cookies to share. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that I will be watching JULIE BUNNY MUST DIE!! and I will be visiting/hugging everyone!!! Otherwise, nothing is set in stone. I'm thinking a game of CRANIUM with my furry friends would be a super way to spend some time (don't know if that will happen yet).

I'm also really glad to hear that things are starting to look up for you, and I'm glad your brother is going to be okay.
