For those of you just getting home from Dark Knight Rises...

What do you plan on doing with all the rope and that ballgag in you hands?
Be thankful you made it home alive.
So far, at least 14 people did not when some asshole opened fire at patrons at a theater in Aurora, CO.
Something that was supposed to bring fun and joy to comic book and movie fans turns into tragedy. We don't know the reasons as of yet, but someone thought it was necessary to do this. Emulating their favorite villain, making a statement about movies or corporations, who knows. There's no reason that justifies this.
I don't usually pray, but my heart and my best wishes go out to the victims who will survive this and to the loved ones of the victims who weren't so lucky.
Sorry to bring the terrible news, but it really hits me. It makes me so mad when tragedies like this happen. We have to witness and suffer the worst of what humanity is capable of.

I will keep them all in my thoughts <3
I don't really pray much anymore either, but I hope the victims and their families get the help and support they need! this tragedy is just messed up >< and my heart and wishes go out to those families as well :c
The families of all who were in that theatre this morning are in my prayers. It's just downright heartless that someone would do this.
Our prayers go out to the families and victims, hoping for a speedy recovery to those that still have the opportunity. :'(
I agree that theaters are potential hotspots for violence since so many people go in and out of theaters and there is little to no security in most locations.
I've worked in theaters for a number of years, so I can tell you the best there is is the employees to point out any potentially destructive behavior and security guards who walk around the complex, but that's it. The theater I recently worked at does usually have a police car that circles the mall area it's located at and sometimes parks in the back. This is especially the case during midnight premieres for movies that are expected to do well like this one. I'm not saying the police of Aurora didn't do their job. They mentioned that the city is generally safe and this tragedy was an aberration. Still just for the sake of preventing fights from breaking out, which can happen even in safe cities, it's usually a good idea to keep a patrol car around an area like that just in case something happens. Who knows, maybe they would have spotted the guy in his car and might have been able to stop him before he carried the crime. But who knows really. An eyewitness mentioned someone taking a phone call and walking to the back door minutes before the movie started. Related? No one knows, but it's sick to think someone would want to aid in something like this.
It's all fucked up really. Incidents like this make me shake my head and wonder why anyone would think it's worth doing or necessary to do or that anyone would just be that deranged or callous. It breaks me heart. :(
This guy is crazy. Cops got to his apartment, the door was booby-trapped. There were explosives and chemicals inside all over the place.
