I play it through steam, though I'm pretty sure that they connect to the same place. Steam just has you connect through the regular launcher anyways ^^

I tried it....began to hate it for the '10 levels for every 1 actual' bit...which meant especially for the casters that you basicly couldn't get anywhere solo, which is how i usually am in low levels....

Hm, well I can understand that. I play a melee person so I wouldn't know the difficulty for casters. Though I will say that once you get to level 6 or so you start to kick a LOT of ass as a caster!


My DDO partner and I have actually made level 1 chars, and are hoping to find people to play with (at certain times, like on the weekends) to progress through the story with and level up together.

well, right now jojo and I have a ranger and paladin (both at level 10), but we will be starting new chars to play with the new folks.

For level 1 stuff, Jojo is playing a monk, and I am playing an artificer. So that basically leaves all of the free classes available to play as :P

Hmm... I wish I had the option to play a warlock, I love that class on the PnP. I'll probably have some fun and play a sorcerer or a ranger and go with the idea of an arcane archer, even though we don't really have true prestige classes.

there are indeed prestige classes in DDO- my paladin is an undead hunter :p

Reeeeeeaaaaaaly.... hehehe, does it have one of my personal favorite prestige classes, the duelist or next best, the invisible blade? I make a fun monster rogue in PnP, 18 int with that ultra high dex and you have a mini goddess and Jacklyn of all trades!

Darn, but they are evil fun! unfortunately the NWN2 one isn't entirely coded right the last time I played one. I think I'll have some fun playing the magic archer in DDO though, drop me a message whenever you want to start.

I tend to make more and more characters over and over each designed easier for roleplay and teamwork and some, versatility, you may find me a bit different from some people who use more serious character builds and talk like Dis Yo.

Seems your not the only person who plays on Orien that I discovered played DDO over the years...

I play it on occasion. Haven't played on that server yet, but I could always throw a character in there.

i am on my toes waiting to play as a druid and turn into a wolf or bear and have a nice wolfy pet following me everywhere

hehe, druid was a nice class- and a lot of people were running around with wolves last i checked :p
